Here's the thing about Mercy: It allows us to approach the throne of Grace with an absolute confidence we do not deserve or understand, in full. That mercy, that absolute confidence, that is where our help is found in times of need. That's where He is found. In Mercy.
Is it any wonder then that over and over, time after time, He says He does not want our sacrifice, or our best try, but that He desires OUR Mercy. Not that we accept His, but that we give ours. Not to lift Him up but instead to lift up others.
Let that sink in.
Give Mercy, so those around you can find the help they need. Give away new mercy, every day. That's how we've been loved: New Mercy. Every day.
