    This is gonna fall under the Curiosities in our name, but we thought you might wanna see this wedding dress the bride handcrafted from the parachute that saved her groom’s life during WWII.

    Made in 1947 from a nylon parachute which saved the groom’s life during WWII. (Now in the Costume Collection of the National Museum of American History, Smithsonian).
